PB Training Centre of Energy Specialists has been conducting the qualification assessment of welders and welding operators since 2014.
PB Training Centre of Energy Specialists is an institution certified under the requirements of the standard LST EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 (Certificate No. LA.05.004) and services welding specialists who wish to check, approve, or extend their qualification under the following standards:
• EN ISO 9606-1 Qualification testing of welders - Fusion welding – Part 1: Steels (ISO 9606-1:2012);
• EN ISO 14732 Welding personnel - Qualification testing of welding operators and weld setters for mechanized and automatic welding of metallic materials (ISO 14732:2013).
The Certification Department of the Training Centre is also a notified body (NoBo 2800), which, under the requirements of the Directive 2014/68/EU on pressure equipment under the standards EN ISO 9606-1; EN ISO 14732, approves the qualification of the welders who do the procedures of permanent joining.
